Brooklyn Raw Food Potluck Fri, August 15 at 7:30 PM

Hi Everyone,

The July potluck was both fun and interesting.

Gary Kaskel, President of United Action For Animals gave a presentation on UAA's programs to combat pet overpopulation through low-cost spay/neuter and humane education, as well as the ethical issues involving factory farming, laboratory experimentation and cultural views of the roles of animals in society.

You are invited to join us on Friday, August 15, 2003 from 7:30-10:30 pm. for the next Brooklyn Raw Food Potluck:

There is no formal talk schedule this month. We will however be hearing some brief reports from people who were at the Living Now festival in upstate New York.

Hope to see you there!
